TOWN
OF SAXEVILLE, WAUSHARA COUNTY, WISCONSIN
Meeting held at Saxeville Town Hall
Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting – April 15, 2002
Notice for the meeting was posted at the dump and both town halls,
mailed to and published in the Waushara Argus and published on the
Town’s web site. Chairman Christensen called the meeting to order at
10:30 pm. All officers were present. Visitor was Larry Timm.
The
Clerk’s report of the meeting minutes from March 18, 2002 was read and
approved. The Treasurer’s report for March 2002 was read and approved.
$25,000 has been set aside in a contingency fund.
OLD BUSINESS
1.
Land Use Committee – There was no report.
2.
Roads – 31st and Cty A, near Sawdust City Bar will be
graveled now and finished next year. The cost will be shared with the
Town of Bloomfield. Scott Construction will crack seal the road near
Hanson’s and Apache. New stop signs have been put up as needed. The
Highway Commissioner inspected Portage Rd. The road will be graveled,
paved and shouldered by the County.
3.
New Town Hall – The outside sign has been installed. The hall is rented
for Apr 20th and Dec 25th.
4.
Treasurer’s Computer – Supervisor Petersen will have the machine
repaired and the memory upgraded to handle the new tax program for
fall. The printer also needs to be updated to accommodate the revised
tax program.
5.
Clerk – The fax machine is installed. The Clerk can receive materials
the State no longer sends by mail.
6.
Town Credit Card – Treasurer Seefelt explained the VISA card membership.
The card will be obtained through the Bay Lake Bank.
There was no other old business.
NEW BUSINESS
1.
Lawn Mower – The Board is checking on a mower for use at the town hall.
Michelle Cartwright has agreed to do mowing as needed.
There was no other new business.
The
bills were presented for payment and the Clerk was instructed to pay
them.
Motioned by Supervisor Petersen and seconded by Supervisor Lind to
adjourn the meeting at 11:25 PM. Voice vote, all in favor, motion
carried.
