TOWN OF
SAXEVILLE, WAUSHARA COUNTY, WISCONSIN
Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting – April 17, 2006
Notice for the meeting was
posted at the dump, the town hall, the Leon-Saxeville
Library, published in the Waushara Argus and on the Town’s
web site. All officers, except Clerk Cartwright were
present. Chairman Petersen called the meeting to order.
Treasurer Seefelt read the
Clerk’s report of the meeting minutes from March 20, 2006.
There was one correction
needed: in the Sally Raugh Land Division, Supervisor Timm
seconded the motion. The minutes will be corrected. Motioned
by Supervisor Timm, seconded by Chairman Petersen to accept
the minutes as corrected. Voice vote, all in favor, motion
carried.
The Treasurer’s report from
March 2006 was read. Motioned by Supervisor Lind, seconded
by Supervisor Timm to accept the report as read. Voice
vote, all in favor, motion carried.
Debbie Klebe, from W4736
S Long Lake Rd, was present to speak about purchasing a lot
across
from the lake access
(Tom Protheroe property) contingent on a variance to build a
40’ X 60’
garage. This will be on
the May public hearing at the County. Motioned by Chairman
Petersen,
seconded by Supervisor
Lind to support the proposed variance for a garage on the
Debbie Klebe property.
Voice vote, all in
favor, motion carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1. Roads –
-
Hall Rentals – The Dan
Magdanz rental deposit check may be returned; the hall
was left in
good condition. There
are bridal showers and graduations coming up.
3. There was no other
unfinished business.
NEW BUSINESS
1.
Water Patrol Agreement for Long
Lake – The contract is about the same as last year’s.
Motioned by Chairman Petersen, seconded by Supervisor Lind
to accept the water patrol agreement for Long Lake. Voice
vote, all in favor, motion carried.
2.
Survey for Length of Service
Award Program – Chairman Petersen will complete it and send
it in.
3.
Lind Mowing Proposal – Brad Lind
submitted a mowing proposal for 2006 for $58.00 /hour.
Motioned by Supervisor Timm, seconded by Supervisor Lind to
hire Lind Excavating and Landscaping for 2006. Voice vote,
all in favor, motion carried.
4.
PoySippi Fire Department – the
Board signed the fire contract for the 2006-2007 season.
5. Erdman Excavating
submitted a proposal for snowplowing for the 2006-2007
season.
There was no other new
business.
The bills were presented for
payment and the Clerk was instructed to pay them.
The next meeting was set for
Monday, May 15, 2006, 8:00 PM at the town hall.
The meeting adjourned.
