Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting – April 18, 2005
Notice for the meeting was posted
at the dump, the town hall, the Leon-Saxeville Library, mailed
to and published in the Waushara Argus and published on the
Town’s web site. Chairman Petersen called the meeting to order.
All officers were present. Visitors included Jay Kleiber and
John & Dianna Nigbor.
The minutes from the meeting on
March 21, 2005 were read. Motioned by Supervisor Timm, seconded
by Supervisor Lind to accept the minutes as read. Voice vote,
all in favor, motion carried.
The Treasurer’s report for March
2005 was read. Motioned by Chairman Petersen, seconded by
Supervisor Timm to accept the report as read. Voice vote, all
in favor, motion carried.
Motioned by Supervisor Lind,
second by Chairman Petersen to change the agenda to accommodate
John and Dianna Nigbor. Voice vote, all in favor, motion
carried. The Nigbors purchased the Bill Penterman farm and wish
to operate a dog-boarding kennel. Motioned by Chairman
Petersen, seconded by Supervisor Timm to support the Nigbor’s
proposal for a dog-boarding kennel. Voice vote, all in favor,
motion carried.

BUSINESS

Roads – New, larger culverts
on Magdanz’s road will be installed to accommodate the use
of heavy farm machinery in that area. Gravel is needed on
Archer and County M. Potholes were fixed near Harold
Hanson’s. School bus signs were put up near the dump.
Seven culverts on 29th near replacing.

Tom Clark’s Land Division –
Motioned by Supervisor Timm, seconded by Supervisor Lind to
approve the preliminary plot as proposed by Tom Clark.
Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.

business.
NEW BUSINESS

There was no new business.
The bills were presented for payment and the Clerk was
instructed to pay them.
The next meeting was set for
Monday, May 16, 2005, 8 PM at the town hall.
Motioned by Supervisor Lind,
seconded by Supervisor Timm to adjourn the meeting. Voice vote,
all in favor, motion carried.
