OLD BUSINESS
-
Roads – Supervisors Lind and Hess are plowing some town roads. Glen
Erdman plows the Saxeville residential area.
-
Land Use Planning – Nils Dahlstrand reported the progress of other
plans in the county. He was wondering how the Board was doing with
its’ study of the Saxeville plan. The Board plans to continue its’
work in the next three months; perhaps meeting with large landowners
in the town. The ultimate goal is to have a plan that the landowners
are comfortable with.
-
Long Lake Association – The DNR is making no plans to remove the
muskies from Long Lake. Motioned by Supervisor Lind, second by
Supervisor Hess to show non-monetary support for an aquatic plant
study planned for the lake. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
-
There was no other old business.
NEW BUSINESS
-
Brian Glatz addressed the Board concerning beer and cigarette licenses
for the General
Store, which he is currently operating. He was advised to take the
4-hour bartender’s
course, and submit his applications. If the beer application has
been published in the
Argus, it could be acted on at the January meeting.
-
There was no other new business.
The bills were presented for payment and the Clerk was instructed to pay
them.
The
next meeting was set for Monday, January 19, 2004, 8 PM at the town
hall.
Motioned by Supervisor Lind, second by Supervisor Hess to adjourn the
