UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1.
MM Fran Penterman - ATV Track –
Pentermans were on the agenda but did not attend the
meeting.
2.
Russell Wendt Land Division –
The Board approved the land division and signed the
certified survey map.
3.
Saxeville/Springwater Fire
Department Sections Coverage – Chiefs Tim Jenks and Tom
Marini were present to discuss the coverage of sections 22 &
27. It had been a “shared” area for PSFD and SSFD, but is
currently a mutual aid area. It most probably is not listed
correctly at the county dispatch office. Both chiefs and
Chairman Petersen will work on settling the issue at the
county. The Town residents would like both departments to
respond to calls for both sections.
4.
Roads – Seal coating and wedging
have started for Saxeville Rd, 31st, Apache,
Mallas and part of Archer. Richard Cartwright should be paid
for a fallen tree cleanup. The truck will need rear end
repair. Dead oaks on 26th, trimming on Portage
Rd and cleaning up scrub brush will wait till fall.
5.
Town Hall Rentals – Nellie
Jorgensen’s deposit check can be returned. The DNR is
conducting a boating safety class on June 23-24. There will
be no fee charged for that rental. Other upcoming rentals
include Jun 29 – UWEX clean boat workshop, June 30 – Long
Lake Association annual meeting, Saxeville Players – July
13,14,15, Children’s Play July 19,20,21 and July 15 – Carol
Steffens.
6.
There was no other unfinished
business.
