Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting – March 21, 2005
Notice for the meeting was posted
at the dump, the town hall, the Leon-Saxeville Library, mailed
to and published in the Waushara Argus and published on the
Town’s web site. Chairman Petersen called the meeting to order.
All officers were present. There were several visitors at the
meeting.
Visitors were present to express
their concern about the Tom Rusch subdivision proposal.
Chairman Petersen informed the group that the proposal had been
shut down on the county level.
The minutes from the meeting on
February 21, 2005 were read. Motioned by Supervisor Hess,
seconded by Supervisor Lind to accept the minutes as read. Voice
vote, all in favor, motion carried.
The Treasurer’s report for
February 2005 was read. Motioned by Supervisor Hess, seconded
by Supervisor Lind to accept the report as read. Voice vote,
all in favor, motion carried.
UNFINISHED
BUSINESS

Glen Timm Land Division – The
Board supports the land division as proposed by Glen Timm.

Roads – Brush cutters are
still working in our area. The Board will make a plan for
summer wedging and seal coating.

Tom Clark Land Division – The
Board supports the land division as proposed by Tom Clark.

Long Lake Water Patrol – The
Board studied a breakdown of expenses from 2004 for water
patrol. Perhaps more will need to be budgeted for another
year.

There was no other old
business.
NEW BUSINESS
-
The WTA District meeting at
Ripon was discussed. Chairman Petersen and Supervisor Lind
will be reimbursed $25.00 each for attendance for the day.

There was no other new
business.
The bills were presented for payment and the Clerk was
instructed to pay them.
The next meeting was set for
Monday, April 18, 2005, 8 PM at the town hall.
Motioned by Supervisor Hess,
seconded by Supervisor Lind to adjourn the meeting at 8:50 PM.
Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
