TOWN
OF SAXEVILLE, WAUSHARA COUNTY, WISCONSIN
Meeting held at Saxeville Town Hall
December 16, 2002
Notice for the meeting was posted at the dump and both town halls, mailed
to and published in the Waushara Argus and published on the Town’s web
site. Chairman Christensen called the meeting to order at 8:10 pm. All
officers were present. Visitors were Yvonne Feavel and Larry Anderson.
Mr.
Anderson questioned if the tax bills had been sent out and if they could
be paid in person at the town hall. The bills were almost all posted and
the treasurer would accept payments by mail.
Mrs. Feavel asked the Board to consider
plowing her road; Chairman Christensen replied that the Town is not in the
business of plowing private roads.
The Clerk’s minutes from November 18, 2002
were read and approved. The Treasurer’s report for November 2002 was read
and approved.
OLD
BUSINESS
-
Roads – Travis Anderson would like to do the plowing on Spruce and Pine
Lanes in Saxeville. The Board would prefer that Glen Erdman continue
with the plowing at this time. The plow and sander are winter-ready.
Supervisor Lind’s boys will finish some minor brush cutting for
$10.00/hour.

Treasurer’s Printer – Treasurer Seefelt has purchased the printer and is
readying it for the upcoming tax season.
There was no other old business.
NEW
BUSINESS
-
The Town Caucus was set for Monday,
January 20, 2003, followed by the regular Town Board meeting.

Election Officials – Motion by Supervisor Petersen, second by Supervisor
Lind approving the following as election officials for the 2003-2005
term: Mary Lou Oehlke, Delores Loehrke, Nancy Timm, Judy Fabricius,
Hattie Snell, Harriet Hansen, Lynn Sallee and Joann Schulke. Voice
vote, all in favor, motion carried.

The
electric company has installed a night-light at the south side of the
town hall. It will cost approximately $7.00 per month.

Mrs. Feavel reported for the Long Lake
Yacht Club who would like to see a designation of “presented by the Long
Lake Yacht Club” printed on the front corner sign.

Mrs. Feavel also offered a gift from the
Long Lake Yacht Club of scenic or historical pictures for the town hall
walls.

The Clerk was asked to send a baby card to
Michelle Cartwright, town employee.
The
bills were presented for payment and the Clerk was instructed to pay them.
The
next meeting was set for Monday, January 20, 2003, 8 PM at the town hall,
following the caucus.
Motioned by Supervisor Petersen, seconded by Supervisor Lind to adjourn
the meeting.
