TOWN
OF SAXEVILLE, WAUSHARA COUNTY, WISCONSIN
Meeting held at Saxeville Town Hall
February 17, 2003
Notice
for the meeting was posted at the dump and both town halls, mailed to and
published in the Waushara Argus and published on the Town’s web site.
Chairman Christensen called the meeting to order at 8:10 PM. All officers
were present. Visitors included Len Brasch and Jason Timm.
The
Clerk’s minutes from January 20, 2003 were read and approved. The
Treasurer’s report for January 2003 was read. Treasurer Seefelt also gave
a detailed report of the 2002 tax collections. Motioned by Supervisor
Petersen, seconded by Supervisor Lind to accept the Treasurer’s report as
read. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS
-
Roads –Roads are being plowed and sanded as needed by the County and
Chairman Christensen. There may be more bridges in the area that need
the sides removed to allow room for wide equipment to pass.

The
WTA District Meeting, Ripon, was noted for Friday, March 21, 2003. All
officers plan to attend.

Town
Hall Rentals – Several requests have come in for renting the hall
throughout the coming year. Supervisor Petersen formulated an agreement
to be used for rental purposes.

There was no other old business.
NEW BUSINESS
-
Land Issues – A. Tom and Doris Gilles,
Long Lake, wish to move a lot line to adjust one large and one small lot
to two decent sized lots. Motion by Supervisor Petersen, second by
Supervisor Lind to approve the lot line change as proposed by Tom and
Doris Gilles. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried. B. Bob Magdanz
wishes to move a lot line on his property to set aside a 6-acre site for
a residence for his son. Motion by Chairman Christensen, second by
Supervisor Lind to approve the lot line move as proposed by Bob Magdanz.
Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.

The Length of Service Award Program for
the Saxeville Springwater Fire Department will be discussed at a meeting
to be held on Thursday, March 27, 2003, 6 PM at the Fire Department.

There was no other new business.
The bills were presented for payment and the Clerk was instructed to pay
them.
The
next meeting was set for Monday, March 17, 2003, 8 PM at the town hall.
Motioned by Chairman Christensen, seconded by Supervisor Petersen to
adjourn the meeting at 9:10 PM. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
