Saxeville Town Hall
Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting – December 20, 2004
Notice for the meeting was posted
at the dump, the town hall, the Leon-Saxeville Library, mailed
to and published in the Waushara Argus and published on the
Town’s web site. Chairman Petersen called the meeting to order
at 8:10 PM. All officers were present. Visitors included MM
Don Anderson, MM Kim Lulloff, Russ Meyer, Tom Clark, MM Len
Brasch, MM Ed Smith.
The minutes from the meeting on
November 15, 2004 were read. Motioned by Supervisor Hess,
seconded by Supervisor Lind to accept the minutes as read. Voice
vote, all in favor, motion carried.
The Treasurer’s report for
November 2004 was read. Motioned by Supervisor Hess, seconded
by Chairman Peterson to accept the report as read. Voice vote,
all in favor, motion carried.
Motioned by Supervisor Hess and
seconded by Supervisor Lind to amend the meeting agenda to
accommodate items from the visitors.
Jeannie Lulloff, representing the
Saxeville Players, discussed their use of the town hall. The
proposal was for summer use of the hall for and adult and
children’s summer theater program. Rent would be paid when the
group realized a paid audience for any of the performances.
Motioned by Supervisor Hess, seconded by Supervisor Lind to
accept the rental of the hall as proposed by the Saxeville
Players. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
Tom Clark Land Division – Mr Clark
is interested in making two 2 and ˝ acre lots from a 5 acre
parcel. This will be a January 2005 agenda item.
Bruce Klosinski was not present to
discuss his tax assessment. Assessor Blader had settled the
matter with him in a phone conversation.

BUSINESS
1.
Amy Friday – Land Division –
Motioned by Supervisor Hess, seconded by Supervisor Lind to
support the land division on County Hwy E as proposed by Amy
Friday. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
2.
Roads – Crack Fillers will do winter
brush cutting when they are in the area. Glen Erdman will plow
the streets in town and Brian Glatz will do the remainder of the
town miles. Mr Erdman needs to provide a certificate of
insurance.
3.
Town Hall Use – There was more
discussion about the hall being for a meal site. Details could
be worked out for spring of 2005.

NEW BUSINESS

Caucus – Motioned by
Supervisor Hess, seconded by Chairman Petersen to set the
date for the next caucus to be held on Monday, January 17,
2005, 8:00 PM at the town Hall. Voice vote, all in favor,
motion carried.

Election Workers – Motion ed
by Supervisor Hess, seconded by Supervisor Lind to appoint
Mary Lou Oehlke, Nancy Timm, Delores Loehrke, Judy Fabricius,
Joann Schulke, Lynn Sallee, Harriet Hansen and Hattie Snell
as election workers for 2005-2006. Voice vote, all in
favor, motion carried.

Fire Inspection – The fire
inspection was performed at the hall; all items are in
order.

LOSA Program – Supervisor Hess
will insure that all fire department members listed in the
Length of Service Award Program are eligible.

There was no other new
business.
The bills were presented for payment and the Clerk was
instructed to pay them.
The next meeting was set for
Monday, January 17, 2005, 8 PM at the town hall.
Motioned by Supervisor Hess,
seconded by Chairman Petersen to adjourn the meeting at 9:25
PM. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
