Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting – February 21, 2005
Notice for the meeting was posted
at the dump, the town hall, the Leon-Saxeville Library, mailed
to and published in the Waushara Argus and published on the
Town’s web site. Chairman Petersen called the meeting to order.
All officers were present. Visitors included Glen and Jason
Timm and Chet Wesenburg.
The minutes from the meeting on
January 17, 2005 were read. Motioned by Supervisor Hess,
seconded by Supervisor Lind to accept the minutes as read. Voice
vote, all in favor, motion carried.
The Treasurer’s report for January
2005 was read. Motioned by Supervisor Hess, seconded by
Chairman Peterson to accept the report as read. Voice vote, all
in favor, motion carried. The Treasurer reported that all the
tax collection accounting had to be refigured due to a
taxpayer’s “no sufficient funds” check.
Motioned by Supervisor Hess,
seconded by Supervisor Lind to amend the agenda to accommodate
visitors Glen Timm and Chet Wesenburg
Mr. Timm proposed a land division
of his property on 30th Road, ¾ mile south of County Road A. The
Clerk was asked to make this an agenda item for the March
meeting.
Mr. Wesenburg, representative for
Tom Rusch, presented a land division plan for a 42 acre plot on
the corner of County Roads A, E and TT. The Clerk was asked to
make this an agenda item for the March meeting.

BUSINESS

Roads - Crack fillers are
working in the Town of Saxeville. A fair amount of work
needs to be completed yet.

SVRS – Motioned by Supervisor
Hess, seconded by Chairman Petersen approving the resolution
supporting the memo of understanding between Waushara County
and the Town of Saxeville for the Statewide Voter
Registration System. Voice vote, all in favor, motion
carried.

NEW BUSINESS
-
Water Patrol – Motioned by
Chairman Petersen, seconded by Supervisor Hess to approve
the water patrol agreement for Long Lake. Voice vote, all
in favor, motion carried. The Board and the Clerk signed the
agreement. The Clerk was asked to acquire a copy of the
breakdown of the 2004 water patrol costs from the Town of
Springwater.

Timber Permit – A permit for
the thinning of oak and removal of aspen on the Chris Hein
property was presented.

There was no other new
business.
The bills were presented for payment and the Clerk was
instructed to pay them.
The next meeting was set for
Monday, March 21, 2005, 8 PM at the town hall.
Motioned by Supervisor Hess,
seconded by Supervisor Lind to adjourn the meeting at 9:30 PM.
Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
