TOWN OF SAXEVILLE, WAUSHARA COUNTY, WISCONSIN

MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Notice for the meeting was posted at the dump, the town hall, the Leon-Saxeville Library, the Saxeville Post Office, published in the Waushara Argus and on the Town’s web site. All officers (except Supervisor Purvis and Clerk Cartwright, ill) were present. There were three visitors. Chairman Timm called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was spoken.
THE CLERK’S REPORT of the meeting minutes from November 16, 2009 (Public Hearing – Comprehensive Plan, Public Hearing – 2010 Proposed Budget, Special Town Meeting – Adopt 2009 Town Tax Levy - $217,229.55) was read. Motioned by Supervisor Lind, seconded by Chairman Timm to accept the minutes as read. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
THE TREASURER’S REPORT from November 2009 was read. Motioned by Chairman Timm, seconded by Supervisor Lind to accept the report as read. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1. Waushara County Deputy – no report.
2. Roads – The road signs were down on 28th and Archer; new signs will be ordered for spring. Sand was delivered at Supervisor Lind’s place for town use. Pine Hill Road and a few other areas currently need sand.
3. Town Hall Rentals – There are 3 new reservations for 2010: a confirmation, birthday party and Christmas party.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Election Inspectors – 2010-2011 – Motioned by Supervisor Lind, seconded by Chairman Timm to appoint Nancy Timm, Joann Schulke, Audrey Christensen, Delores Loehrke, Harriet Hansen, Hattie Snell and Judy Fabricius as election inspectors for the 2010-2011 term. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
2. An estimate for some computer upgrades from Tina Priestly was presented. It was decided to purchase the upgrade and a UPS, if needed, for the system.
The bills were presented for payment and the Clerk was instructed to pay them. The next meeting was set for Monday, January 18, 2010 at the town hall. Motioned by Supervisor Lind, seconded by Chairman Timm to adjourn the meeting at 8:40 pm. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
