Notice
for
the
meeting
was
posted
at
the
dump,
the
town
hall,
the
Leon-Saxeville
Library,
the
Saxeville
Post
Office,
published
in
the
Waushara
Argus
and
on
the
Town’s
web
site.
All
officers
were
present.
There
were
several
visitors.
Chairman
Timm
called
the
meeting
to
order
at
8:00
PM.
The
Pledge
of
Allegiance
was
spoken.
THE
CLERK’S
REPORT
of
the
meeting
minutes
from
September
21,
2009
was
read.
There
was
one
correction:
the
fall
production
by
the
Saxeville
players
has
been
cancelled.

Supervisor
Purvis,
seconded
by
Supervisor
Lind
to
accept
the
minutes
as
corrected.
Voice
vote,
all
in
favor,
motion
carried.
THE
TREASURER’S
REPORT
from
September
2009
was
read.
Motioned
by
Supervisor
Lind,
seconded
by
Supervisor
Purvis
to
accept
the
report
as
read.

VARIANCE
–
Art
Lamers
has
applied
to
the
Waushara
County
Board
of
Adjustments
for
three
variances
in
construction
of
a
1˝
story
single
family
dwelling
on
Big
Cedar
Lake
on
County
Road
E.
The
existing
dwelling
will
be
razed.
The
Board
was
pleased
with
the
plan
as
presented.
The
Clerk
was
asked
to
send
a
letter
of
plan
support
to
the
zoning
administrator.
UNFINISHED
BUSINESS
1.
Waushara
County Deputy – no report.
2.
Smart Growth Land Use Plan
a.
The Board considered the Planning commission’s
recommendation to adopt the Plan at the November 2009 Town Board meeting.
b.
Motioned by Supervisor Purvis, seconded by
Supervisor Lind to adopt a Plan
Commission Ordinance to be used after a 30-day public review and
comment period and public hearing. Voice vote, all in
favor, motion carried.
c.
Motioned by Supervisor Purvis, seconded by
Supervisor Lind appointing Ken Hanson, Ruth Penterman, Jason Timm, Wally
Petersen, Bob Magdanz and alternate Len Braasch as members of the first Plan
Commission. Voice vote, all in favor, motion
carried.
d.
The Board discussed the public hearing of the
proposed adoption of a comprehensive plan for the Town
of Saxeville for Monday, November
16, 2009 at 7:30 PM at the Saxeville Town Hall.
3.
Roads – Forty-six road segments were toured and
rated by the Board for updating the WISLAR Program. Needed
signs will be ordered, several potholes will be filled and a 1st
Street culvert will be added. Vern Hess requested that Oak Street again be
closed off for the winter season. Motioned by Supervisor
Purvis, seconded by Supervisor Lind to close Oak Street from December 1, 2009
to April 1, 2010. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
The county is doing the second mowing of the roadsides. Chairman
Timm will contact Mark Carlovsky to survey 1st, 2nd and
Mallas Streets. The right-of-way needs to be defined for
school bus traveling.
4.
Town Hall Rentals – There are reservations for
the church, mealsite, a Christmas party, the food
pantry and several tax collection days.
5.
Town Hall Repairs – Supervisor Purvis will make
several repairs to lights, walls and the ceiling.
6.
There was no other unfinished business.

–
the
line
items
for
the
2010
budget
were
prepared
2.
There
was
no
other
new
business.
The
bills
were
presented
for
payment
and
the
Clerk
was
instructed
to
pay
them.
The
next
meeting
was
set
for
Monday,
November
16,
2009
at
the
town
hall.

adjourn
the
meeting
at
10:00
pm.
