UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1. Waushara County Deputy – no report.
2. Roads – Chairman Petersen has finished the paperwork
for the TRIP program. A certified engineer will most likely need to
be retained to sign those papers. It could result in about $23,000
toward that accomplished roadwork. Brian Glatz repaired the truck
sander. Leroy Niemuth’s land is being flooded due to the current
weather conditions. Crack Fillers will check the roads with the
Board and Terry Purvis on Monday, March 23. Repairs are needed at
Hilltop Cemetery on Rustic Road; projects are slated for spring.
The road past The Ding has large potholes and an excess of gravel on
the road. Chairman Petersen met with the Highway Commissioner;
there is a concern about the snow removal for the town. The County
is looking to cut areas of expenditure. The Town will need to
address the snow issue; purchase another truck or perhaps hire it
done. The newly paved Alp Road has several rough areas; “rough road”
signs were installed. Oak Street will be reopened April 1.
3. Town Hall Rentals – Currently, there are church and
meal site rentals. The Food Pantry will start in April and the
Saxeville Players will offer theater classes in April and May.
4. April 7 Election – Five poll workers will be hired
for the day. The voter turnout is expected to be moderate.
5. Brush Pile – the fire department will not burn the
pile now since the fire danger is high.
6. There was no other unfinished business.
NEW BUSINESS

presentation on the Long Lake Association. They are involved in the

put in to upkeep the lake. The men thanked the Town Board for
supporting their efforts as an Association.
