UNFINISHED BUSINESS
  1. Waushara County Sheriff – No deputy was present.
  2. Roads – Several areas need attention: a. Akron Ct, near Keith Loehrke, b. cul-de-sac on Deer Path Lane, c. fill needed on 1st St to correct drainage problem.  The County is mowing now for the final time.  Chairman Timm will order road signs from the County and speak with Tom Dahlke about snow plowing for the Town.
  3. Town Hall Rentals – there are 2 new rentals: Sue Wendlandt, Oct 22 (funeral memorial service), Kelly O’Hanlon, Nov 18,19,20 (jewelry party).  Treasurer Hanson reserved the hall for tax collections on Dec 21, 28 and 31.
  4. Flag Pole – The Board is still studying the situation for 1 or 2 separate poles.
  5. Fire Sirens – for the Town were discussed again.  Fire Chief Schabor suggested that folks purchase the Midland weather radios.  They give out as much weather information as the Fire Department receives.  The sirens would be an extreme cost to the Town.
  6. Public Access – the four accesses are well disguised and not well marked. There is much over-grown brush in all the areas. This winter would be a good time to do some cleaning in those places. The “Clean waters, clean boats” program is working well on the lake. Tom Catlin offered to train new volunteers around May 1st.  It was suggested that the website could be used to seek out some volunteers.
  7. There was no other old business.

NEW BUSINESS

  1. 2012 – the Board gathered the numbers for the 2012 budget.  There is a $28,633.76 increase, which will result in a minimal across-the-board tax.
  2. There was no other new business.

The bills were presented for payment. The Clerk was instructed to pay them. Motioned by Supervisor Hansen, seconded by Supervisor Lind to adjourn the meeting at 10:00 pm.  Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried. The next meeting was set for Monday, November 21, 2011 at the town hall.

Respectfully submitted,

 Virginia Cartwright, Town Clerk
