Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting – October 18, 2004

Notice for the meeting was posted at the dump, the town hall, the Leon-Saxeville Library, mailed to and published in the Waushara Argus and published on the Town’s web site. Chairman Petersen called the meeting to order.  All officers were present.  Visitors included Tom Marini, Tim Jenks, MM Harold Hanson and Brenda Brasch.

The Treasurer’s report for September 2004 was read.  Motioned by Supervisor Hess, seconded by Chairman Peterson to accept the report as read.  Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.

The Board discussed and approved the land division for Isabel Millard on Co Hwy A & AE.  The recommendation will be sent to the county zoning committee.

MM Harold Hansen presented a petition to the Board requesting that the Saxeville-Springwater Fire Department instead of the PoySippi Department be called for any fires in that area, because of the shorter distance and time involved.  Fire Chiefs Tom Marini and Tim Jenks agreed that both Saxeville and PoySippi would be called for any fire protection in that vicinity.  The dispatch list will be changed at the County office.

Brenda Brasch – Discussed a land division on 30th Rd and Cty Hwy A.  Brenda wishes to make three parcels out of one, then sell two and keep one.  The driveway would be put in a different place.  Chairman Peterson suggested Brenda talk with the neighbors and get their approval of the plan.  The matter will be on the November agenda.

MM Thomas Pias – Chairman Peterson read a proposal supporting a land variance for a driveway on 26th Rd and Cty TT.  Motion by Supervisor Hess, seconded by Supervisor Lind to accept the variance as it was being presented to the County.  Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.  The Board signed the proposal.
