TOWN
OF SAXEVILLE, WAUSHARA COUNTY, WISCONSIN
Meeting held at Saxeville Town Hall
Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting – October 21, 2002
Notice for the meeting was posted at the dump and both town halls, mailed
to and published in the Waushara Argus and published on the Town’s web
site. Chairman Christensen called the meeting to order at 8:07 pm. All
officers were present. Visitors were Yvonne Feavel, Darlene Schafer, Bill
and Cheryl Warzynski and Bob Dalton.
Darlene Schafer addressed the Board. She would like to take a 1.5 acre
section off a 7.9 acre parcel that she presently owns to erect a 26’ X
38’Lexington multi-sectional manufactured home.
Bill
Warzynski presented 40 signed petitions asking the Board to table the
disbandment of the storm siren. Warzynski’s belong to the Lake
Association, where the subject came up at a meeting. Chairman Christensen
reminded the group that at a previous annual Town voter’s meeting, the
Board was advised to drop the subject because new sirens are very
expensive, parts are not easily available and without several sirens
installed, very few people hear the warning anyway.
The
Clerk’s report of the meeting minutes from September16, 2002 were read.
One correction listed Larry Dittmann as the tree trimmer. The Treasurer’s
report for September 2002 was read and approved.
OLD
BUSINESS
-
Roads – Except for the shouldering, Portage Road is complete, 28th
has been shouldered, bridges were inspected and Larry’s Tree Service
trimmed trees. Jim Kettlewell has finished the mowing for the season.
-
Land

meeting monthly, trying to put together a County plan. Yvonne showed the

search for a printer. Motion by Supervisor Petersen, second by
Supervisor Lind to buy a laser printer. Voice vote, all in favor, motion
carried.
-
Robberts have renewed their sand pit permit through the County.
There was no other old business.
NEW
BUSINESS
-
Land
Use Divisions – The Board would like to review all proposed land
divisions in the town. Motion by Chairman Christensen, second by
Supervisor Lind to request of Mark Schumacher, Waushara County Zoning
Administrator, “first look” rights for all proposed land divisions in
the Town. Voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.
-
There was no other new business.
The
bills were presented for payment and the Clerk was instructed to pay them.
The
next meeting was set for Monday, November 18, 2002, 8 PM at the town hall.

Respectfully submitted,
Virginia Cartwright, Town Clerk
